Troubleshooting
Have problems with installing or operating the food waste disposers? Here is a chart that may help you solve your problems:

Machine not rotating and remains silent |
1. The machine is not receiving electricity
2. The wall switch is not pressed down
3. The air switch is not working |
1.Check the electricity connections to see if they are in properly made.
2. The wall switch should be pressed down during operation.
3. Re-install the air switch to make sure all connections are properly in place. |
Strong vibrations, with sounds of metallic crashes |
Anything accidently dropped into the disposer and got stuck |
Switch off the disposer and check if anything has been accidently dropped into the crushing platform. If yes, clean away the obstacles and you can restart the disposer again. |
Machine not rotating, with sounds like "yung yung", and no reaction eventually |
Something got stuck in the crushing platform, or the discharge outlet is blocked |
Clean away substances that are blocking the crushing platform or the discharge outlet. Use an object to manually rotate the disposer. If it is smoothly rotating again, then you can restart the disposer again. |
Water coming out on the top of the disposer |
Connector between the machine and the sink is not in an upright position, leading to a difference in pressure |
Unscrew the three screws on the machine and gently turn the rotating platform. Then screw them back tightly. |
The machine is not rotating, but rustling sounds are present. |
